The competition has received support from the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau, the Science Museum, and the Macau Federation of Cultural Circles. The competition is themed "Ode to One Country, Two Systems" and aims to inherit the essence of Chinese culture through music, a cross linguistic art form, while showcasing Macau's unique cultural style and the artistic charm of combining Chinese and Western elements. During the four-day competition, there are five major groups: piano group, plucked string group, plucked string group, wind tube group, and percussion group. Each group is further divided into four levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced, and professional, ensuring that each participant can fully express themselves on the appropriate stage and showcase their personal style. The contestants presented their signature pieces one after another, with their fingertips dancing on the piano keys and melodies flowing between the bowstrings that moved people's hearts. This not only demonstrated their superb musical skills, but also conveyed a profound understanding and love for "One Country, Two Systems" through music. The four-day event not only brought high-quality music enjoyment to the audience, but also provided a valuable learning and communication platform for young music enthusiasts.
The successful holding of this competition is not only a comprehensive review of young music talents in Macau, but also a powerful promotion of the inheritance and development of Chinese culture, "said Li Hancheng, President of the Macau Youth Exhibition Association. The association will continue to play a bridging role, providing more opportunities for young people to showcase their talents and promoting in-depth exchanges and integration of Chinese and Western cultures.
With the perfect conclusion of the preliminary round, the drums of the final have quietly sounded. The organizers expressed their anticipation for the contestants to continue their efforts in the upcoming competitions, create even more brilliant results, and bring more wonderful music experiences to Macau.
